Yeah, my current converter is a PTC unit comparable to the Holeshot/MP166K 904 lockup converters. The core they built it from was from a Dakota R/T.

I've got less than 500 mi on the setup, so I'm thinking it might loosen up a bit given more miles.

I did not know that about the bell housing, I thought I smelled a hole in the market but now I see why. The only answer I got as to why was "no one makes a billet front cover for a lockup 904."

The guy who did my trans for me did say there were lockup covers available for LU 727/518s. I was already committed to the 999 though.

I really only use the LU for cruising. It has a noticeable impact on fuel economy in the 40-60 range.
