for an electronic ign conversion from points you could pirate what you need from a yard: dist/ECU & pentastar connector plug in/pigtail & the ballast & if it is an (OE) 5 pin ECU (& likely it is) it will need the 4 terminal (dual) ballast that it will have there. If what you see/grab there is a 4 pin ECU/2 terminal "single" ballast that will work also. & if you just get the dist/4 pin ECU/pentastar connector you can keep your points ballast/coil if desired or grab them also while you are out there. Easiest would be to get the dist/ECU connector which has pigtails on here in the parts for sale possibly or eBay or the whole kit from your MP dealer which will have the infamous orange box & a nominal 1.25 ohm ballast. Someone just mentioned that rockauto has boxes for cheap & carrying a spare is prudent (your parts house has em for cheap). No info on Pertronix but it gets many good reviews & very very few complaints of issues.
