Mine broke too, hence the fix. Pulled into the staging lanes and "POP"...I went rounds, but it wasn't easy.
It's an aluminum turn buckle from Lowes
I too broke the threads off my Pro-Ratchet by using a tall pistol grip handle on a 35 degree day. I put it in park too aggressively and snapped it off.
I'm confused on the aluminum turnbuckle, do you have more pics? I'd like to go back to the pistol grip and mount it like yours.
