first thing to check is a visual inspection of all tone wheels for cracks or rust buildup. next, check the connectors for the pickups for corrosion or broken wires. third, check the magnets on the sensors for "fuzzy" metallic growth. report back, and we can go from there. anything MIA will get real close to the point of contention.
