IMO I have seen back to back testing in two NA 10.5 cars with an SB2, the other a SB Ford. Car ran exactly the same with a wet sump as it did with a dry sump, ZERO change in ET on this car. It was done in an attempt to get the weight penalty for a dry sump removed from the rule book. Having said that the rule is still there, juts lowered the amount of a penalty for a dry sump. FWIW we would love to run a Dry Sump in the Vette but there simply is no room to do it. We pull 17" with the wet sump deal now.
