I don't think he needs max ported heads to drive a convertible to the grocery store. The problem here is the price of the Edelbrock heads is only $2,600 delivered. If he is going to ship his heads to a hemi type person to repair, the freight will probably be $50 each both ways. That's $200. He can probably get $1,600 for the heads he's got. So his bill would have to be under $800 for the repairs to break even. And if he did get them done for $800 he would have used stock heads instead of new CNC ported Edelbrocks. And we won't even discuss how long he will be down while the heads are gone because we don't know.
