The Dart Im looking at possibly buying was originally a vinyl top. It was taken off and top painted at some point. From what I understand, they used bondo at the seam on vinyl top cars, and lead on others.
Well the bondo on this car looks to be seperating and causing dime to quarter sized bubbles on both sides. From what I can tell, this is the only problem area. All glass channels are clean and rust free. I have seen and heard about this before so I know its fairly common. But I have to admit that I am not a body guy. So is this a relatively easy fix? Or is it something that should cause me to reconsider getting the car?
Btw, car will be used as a weekend cruiser. No show. Maybe strip once to see what it can do.
Thnx for the help.
