If you want the best, and plan on using a stock block, invest in a center wieghted crank to make the block live a long life. I highly sugest you go with a 400 block also at the power level you want. When you say best, then talk to some of the great engine builders on this board and have them set you up with individual choices for pistons, etc. Your best results will come from going that route.
