The local plater here has a minimum charge of $100, regardless of the plating material. So, Cad and zinc would be the same, it's just a function of what would be more appropriate on the most number of items. I could go either way, hence my question to the masses. I appreciate all of your suggestions. I can't afford to get every component plated in the exact way it was before. I'm trying to get the freshest look and most protection as possible. The rear of the heater box will be done primarily for corrosion control. As we know, once installed, one can't see it...
