Thought I would update this thread. I bought a roll of Eternabond from a building supply vender. Thought I would experiment. What I did was focus on the seam at the roof and front end cap. I cleaned off all the old saelent. It was pretty much dried up. The roll came in a 60 foot length. It was 6” wide.

Over all it went on pretty easy. Rolled out from under the protective plastic film and adhered to the metal. I had to overlap several place in that the width didnt adequately cover the seam. I used a roller from a Dynamat kit to roll out the material.

Given I live here in sunny Phoenix it will be interesting to see how it holds up this summer. I should add that the face of the tape is white so it should be good at reflecting the sunlight.
