what works for me is to take off the wheels to lighten the assy & pry or tap the LCA rearward a bit to get the bar started rearward then tap the LCA forward till it comes off of the bar. A floor jack under the LCA to get it all supported/inline. If I was to clamp it I would ABSOLUTELY use some wood.


This is how I do it too. It works really well, besides, the LCAs have to be loosened to put it all back together.
