I have it toward the front of the car as close where it barely hits the weathers stripping, but the rear barely hit the wether stripping towards the back. Seems window is not exactly the right size. I also noticed the holes for the up stops, are too far up not allowing the window to go up and seal if I put the stops in. there is very limited wear and no broken slide squares/rollers, this is a 28k original mileage car. Just wondering if there were issue with some of the AMD product in the past.

Can't speak for your situation, and if you don't have an original glass to compare to, who knows. But that said, I have installed lots of AMD glass with no issues.
There are a ton of adjustments on door glass. Make sure you are familiar with all the adjustments. One piece glass like a Duster, being wedge shaped, can appear too short if it isn't up enough.
