So many Chebby guys have no clue that Chrysler built a 383 that wasn't a stroker.
They also built low deck 383's and tall deck 383's, just to be confusing.
1959 only year made I think, tall deck 383 where I believe 4.0 bore with a 3.75 stroke, the low decks where like all the other normal low deck 383, 4.250 bore with the shorter stroke Never say never with any American car company, NEVER
