was #2 transformed into a Green Hornet "black beauty" for a season #2 that never happened?

Correct scheduled and shipped is what is on the IBM card and that was October 5, 1965
#1 car was delivered to Dean Jeffries on or about April 10-11 1966.
Modifications completed by Jeffries of the #1 car on May 10-11, 1966
First photographed #1 car on set May 18, 1966
#2 car took longer to complete. Jeffries recalls "they were in the shop about the same time."
First photographic outing of #2 was at the 44th Southern California International Auto Show at the Pan Pacific Auditorium October 28, 1966 as far as I can tell. Car wranglers on set indicate #2 was available on set for test shots and second unit filming. To date we have only eyewitness testimony to confirm this.
First application for a hard plate (X62994) was from 1-23-67 listed as purchasing from Max Barish. If this paperwork is the original paperwork or the first application then it might be for the second year of its life with the first application being 1-23-1966 (?) Hard to say but when the series was cancelled it was common to make an accounting of all the property associated with t he said series and they may not have registered it before that time because cars usually just stayed on set and really did not need tags. But the transport tag would have allowed to be moved off set legally.

Season #2 was planned and scripts collected however the show was canceled on January 3, 1967 so it would be pointless to buy and modify a car after the series had already been cancelled. Hence the paperwork I have, (the application for hard plate) must be one in a series of documents of the cars history. Two modified cars were contracted for the series and two were delivered according to Jeffries "#2 shortly after #1 was delivered."
