What bell is this? Other than a Lakewood, I know of know others. The tooth pitch us different between the gear reduction and direct drive starters.

If your bell is for a 143 wheel, buy an aftermarket 8 bolt 143 tooth wheel.

I had a '67 Hemi Charger that someone had converted to a OEM 440 bell, 143 aftermarket wheel and a standard gear reduction starter, it worked great. My '67 Belvedere has the OEM direct drive starter, not so great. I plan to swap it over to the Rob MC/Mallory 3008.

The 143 and 172 are the same size diameter, different pitch, both fit that flywheel, only in the wrong place.
I might have the Anson bell, no name, but it is hydro-formed, it's for a wedge because of the starter bolt up.
Push comes to shove I'll have to buy the 143 wheel (to get the ring on the back side) and give the other two away.
