Okie dokie - here we go - this is what I was talking about; in one sense. I still recollect a blue engine and a blue oval air cleaner, but what my brother is giving me crap about is that I want to paint my 440 blue and use either a blue or orange oval air cleaner in my 84 crewcab dually. He thinks the blue engine and orange air cleaner would "clash" and look horrible. He wants me to paint the engine orange and the air cleaner lid orange like he has done on multiple vehicles (pic on left). I do not think it would clash and look horrible; since #1, a 72 RR with a 440-6 came that way (pic on right) and #2 my 74 Charger has a blue engine and an orange round air cleaner. Thinking along the lines of what would Mopar have done if they offered a 440 in an 84 crewcab dually, since my 74 Charger was done that way, I think that Mopar would have kept that theme in 84. The blue air cleaner lid on a blue engine still just sticks in my mind; still pretty sure that I've seen that before. Anyways, I think I'll go with the blue engine and the orange air cleaner lid!
