The reason for that is the spring kind of goes over center.
I know the idea on the spring operation. I just thought the spring would have been stretch more with the pedal on the floor then with the pedal being all the way up. There is more pedal travel from the over center point with the pedal on the floor then there is with the pedal all the way to the top.
