I agree Doug. I was not aware of this till I started modifying later model cars with 2.79-3.23. A lot of the time the 2.79 geared cars were nearly or as fast as the higher geared cars. That low numerical gear really makes the converter work. The shift rpm will tighten up and you get more flash out of a tighter converter.


Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.
