Yes, e and 71 b the same. The 70/71 parts book gives a p/n of 3418 841. My question to the op is his repo cables going to be made in china? I'm on my second one, the first on broke at the ball on first use, and the second one just lasted 2000 miles before it started to disintegrate. PG in Canada is from what I can find out the only importer for these cables.
Just wondering....could the firewall plastic grommet on a 71 be made to fit the 68/69 cable like the MP P4529112 like you talked about. There are still a few dealers that have them in stock. Reason I ask is they are only around $30.
