God, that brings back memories from behind the parts counter. Sold a guy a pair of head gaskets. Couple of days later he calls in saying he can't figure out how they fit... he has been trying for two days and can't make them work. Tell him to bring the head in and we'll see what the problem is. An hour later I see him walking in and I can barely keep from laughing. He is carrying a valve cover and has the head gaskets all mashed and greased up from trying to get then to fit inside the valve covers. Took the head gaskets back and handed him a new pair of valve cover gaskets, no charge. Turned the head gaskets in for warranty. All the parts guys had a good laugh that day.
