You pretty much have to take a truck engine wiring harness, then start disecting it. You strip away the stuff that controls headlights and horn, etc until you're left with just the engine management stuff. Then you paste that into your engine bay, and hook the necesarry wires up to your bulkhead connector or run them to where you need them. It's doable and I've done it before, but it sucks to do. You need a good grasp of that EFI system. Plus you are limiting yourself to the stock ECU, ie if you do mods, you can not easily go and recalibrate like with an aftermarket efi controller. Pros are you don't have to do any tuning.
