There are just not as many people out there racing. In the late 90's, there would be 120 cars in those classes and more who couldn't get in. Divisonals were always over 100 cars. Now, 60 maybe. Maybe 80 stockers at a D1 meet. Travel and car expense. Economy sucks. Tired of NHRA crap. Racer demo getting older. All play a pert in it.

The ones who still show up are having fun though.
