Back in the 80s the Doug Nash 3 plus 1 manual tranny was kind of popular if not desired. Later they were bought by Richmond. The way the tranny was geared allowed you to run around a 3:10ish ring and pinion but you would accelerate as if you had 4:00ish rear gears and the OD gave good highway RPM. Anyone run one? After all is said in done how does the cost compare to the current options? (Gearvendors, Keisler)
