Moper is right. Not an issue. One ironic thing about the idiotic "advice" is that the Perf RPM and the Air Gap have the same size runners. They are the same intake except the Air Gap heats the intake air less. This may be an issue on a cold start in cold climate but it isn't because of the runner size!

I would not recommend any Performance Products intakes.

So the Performer RPM and the Air Gap are the some exact height? Are they the same manifolds, just the air gap is hollowed out underneath the plenum??????
