Q5 is on there twice because one is for the roof color and the other for the body color. So a painted roof car would tell you,that on the tag.

The upper door frames were never body color. But, sometimes they happen to be the same color as the body of the car, black, white, tan, B7 blue etc.

So the code for the outside was not dictating the upper door frame color. There are separate codes for exterior paint, roof paint and upper door frame paint.

On this car the X9 is e black upper door frame. Now if this car was black they would be the same color, but they each have their own code on the tag/ sheet.
