For Pro Touring you probably want a Ford 9 inch. You most likely don't need a ton of strength but you'll want some higher gears rather than lower (Dana 60 is a truck rearend and highest gear is a 3.54). Also, you will most likely want some serious bling brakes on there. 13 or 14 inch rotors and that kind of stuff is off the shelf for a Ford 9 inch. Not a lot of brake choices for Mopar stuff. The Dana is too big for most Pro Touring cars. The big center section gets in the way of the exhaust, suspension, etc. If you are running big tires tucked under the car then there isn't much space left for shocks, springs and exhaust. Besides, you don't want all of that unsprung weight in a real Pro Touring car. If the car is being built to get up and go you don't want that big Dana center section bouncing the rear end around.
