Back in the day I ran 2 blue pumps, the 2nd for N20 fuel only, firstly on my 340 street/strip car, and then on the race only 440 car, dead headed on both. Never had a problem in 10yrs, never had to replace any of them. Whether the quality today is as good, who knows, (should be better?). For 600hp+ a blue or black is plenty and at under $200 if your budget minded is good, the Mallory is no doubt ok but at $306.....too many out there to choose from, most you just don't need as I see it.
