I have a 66 446 block with stock edelbrock heads and TRW 2255 six pack pistons. I am running 10.1 compression. For the street I will run 93 octane, but when I go to the strip will I benefit from the higher octane racing fuel? I think it is around 105-108 octane. Thanks.

Theres really no reason to up the octane unless you just
plan on being safe. Also if you up the octane without
adding some timing.... you would go slower. The cam
makes a big difference in the cyl pressure... when
it closes
