That reference is very handy for several reasons and among them it that you will need to shorten the drive shaft a bit if you are replacing a 8.75" with the Dana as dimension "C" is different.

I will be involved in a winter project that will involve slipping a Dana 60 into a '72 Barracuda that has a tired 383 and is getting a Indy headed stroked 400 of some 500". The owner has had enough of the 8.75" that has cost him a lot of money in upgrades. I will post some pictures as we go along.
