I had the tail shaft fall off my bench when I was
rebuilding the trans... broke a bolt ear off... I
V it out good and clamped a plate to it and welded
it back on... still running fine... I did have to
hit it on the belt sander to smooth it out.. no leaks
I tigged mine... with 1/8 rod for filler
