during the musclecar era a number of overseas orders for cars were made by US servicemen anticipating their return to the US.

although coded Y09 (EXPORT) these cars were delivered NEW to a US dealership.

a recent thread on Dodge-Charger about a B7/C6D/V88 440 4-spd '69 R/T sparked my interest to compare the car to a T5/C6X/V1X/V88 440 4-spd Y09 R/T I had decades ago.

looking thru my data, I found a large percentage of these Y09 cars to be painted blue or green & ordered with 4-speeds:

I now know of 22 - Y09 EXPORT 1969 cars (most presumably ordered by US servicemen) 8-blue & 5-green
2 w/HEMI, 13 w/4-speed, 3 convertibles - an impressive list!

6 - Charger R/Ts, 4 are 4-speed (2 are HEMI) - one is blue/blue, one is blue/black & one is green/black (4 are stripe "DELETE" - V88)
2 - Charger 383s, 1 is 4-speed - one is blue/blue & one is blue/black
1 - Charger 318, auto, A/C, pdb - blue/white
4 - GTXs, 3 are 4-speed - one is green/green
2 - GTX 'verts, 1 is 4-speed - one is blue/blue
3 - Super Bees, 2 are 4-speed - 2 are green/green
1 - Road Runner 'vert, it is blue/blue
2 - Dart GTS 383s, 1 is 4-speed - 1 is blue/black
1 - Barracuda, 318 4-speed - it is green/tan

anyone care to add stories/known cars to the list?
