Kern Dog Striving for excellence Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 18,493 Granite Bay CA	Those cars had a 2.94 axle. The deep 3.09 1st gear made it easier to get moving with such tall axle gears. Also, the Duster was a shorter car by 3 inches, saving weight.
