My dealer quoted me $500 to unlock the NAV. Then 150 to update as needed later. My Android works just as well and updates are free. Also for 50 bucks less, there is the UCONNECT LOCKPICK AIR V2 that uses the Miracast feature to connect your Android device to the screen. It is intended for streaming video but works just as well for Google maps, etc. Curiously, iOS 9 and above Apples do not allow Miracast connection anymore.
For all of these, remember the 8.4 is not a Hi Def screen so colors and resolution will not be as vivid as your phone screen.
