I know just why you are doing that, because I had a '64 Polara when I first checked into www.Moparts.com and needed a handle.

My Polara was built in California and was always a west coast car, so the sheet metal never suffered from the rust that plagues the east coast and central states. That did not prevent the pot metal taillight housings from developing pits. I chased those things all over e-Bay and was never able to find ones that I could afford. I did find a few locally at swap meets and collected those, but they were never better than the originals that I had on the car. It is tough to own a car with one-year only parts. I finally sold the car on e-Bay to a man in Chicago and last I heard he still loves it as much as I did. I also sent him all the parts that I had collected, including a lot of taillights and maybe he would sell some of his parts to you.
