Use a shorter rod, then the pin won't be in oil ring.
I'm almost sure the oil rings won't be in the wrist pin I would call the piston maker you want to buy from and ask them about the wrist pin location with your stroke and the 7.100 long rods The lomger the rods the lighter the pistons can be
Mine are 3/16 into the oil ring, have to have a ring support. This is with a 7.045 rod.
