if you expect it to last any length of time, you want to support it properly. Design and build supports so it doesn't flex. You also have to attach the fenders to the hood, and the grille, bumper and valance. You also have to rewire the lights. All of this without moving the radiator. Then look at if the lower rear of the fenders have to spread out to clear. They usually do. Two ways to deal with this; slide the assembly forward before pivoting, or slicing the fenders and leaving the lower part attached to the body.
Then you have to have a way to lock it in place.
After all of that, you usually have to add gas struts or springs, since that's a lot of weight, and stops to keep it from tilting too far.
