I asked on here a couple years ago...I had a dana 70. And I had ask right here in this four months. If I could put dana 60 parts into a dana 70 housing. And 2as told no. So I pitched it
I have no idea which way you can go with parts. I do know that both use the same rear cover. I'm probably going back to a 60 housing. You are more than welcome to my 70 housing. It already has 4.10 gears in it. It's a floater style Ford truck rear, so you will have to cut it down and weld on housing ends.
