You CAN make it out of a little better metal, but you can't increase the support area. So the drop out is better, but not FIXED
What about the aluminum case which is through bolted? Does that count for 'better support'?
They claimed the aluminum was 30% stronger than the factory casting. But those things are now crazy expensive, so in terms of money spent for % of better increase, it doesn't seem like a fair trade.
