Boy did you nail this on the head Monte. My Father was a snow-birder spending his Summers in PA and Winters in Florida. My Father was getting dementia and sold his property in Florida and right after the 9-11 attaches I had to fly down to Florida to bring him, his motorhome, car, and my Mother back to PA. We kept him home till he started to turn violent and when we had to place him in a home we checked out around 10 places before we felt he would receive the needed care. 8 miles each way from home and down seeing him everyday with Mom. Not easy by a long shot but its got to be done to make sure they are taken care of and treated with respect. We were even taking care of others during our visits. When the time came Hospice came in and did their job.
