A few pics from earlier today at the newly reopened Palm Beach International Raceway (old Moroso) with a test & tune 3 day session set up by Alan Johnson for select invited teams only.

Alan had his new Al-Anabi racing team of Del Worsham and Larry Dixon making some awesome passes, and despite Tony Schumacher losing his best crewchief....both Tony and Dixon were clicking off 3.81 Et's to the 1000' mark.

The temps were in the low 70's to high 60 and the track was HOOKING......so well in fact the Pro Mods were having some major tire shake...but the fuelers when they made all out passes had nary a tire spin or engine belch

I think this is Khalid Al Balooshi in the new 68' Firebird that Ricki Smith had been making shakedown passes in earlier this weekend (saw Ricki on the line during this burnout)....This car is Shannon Jenkins new 2009 car

It was pass after pass every 5/10 minutes of some of the top running cars in the country....it's going to be a great racing season despite the loss of some sponsors, but i did see a few new ones
