For sure stay at 224* @ 050 or lower on the intake side. While everyone wants a nice lope, lope = overlap = compression bleed off = bad for a low comp smogger 440.

You can run a bigger cam but then a quality built torq converter built to flash to 4000+ like a PTC or Dynamic is a MUST.
