Thanks guys!! I still remember the other 72 dad and I built....well dad built I helped. I was just in 1st grade. Remember he sold it and I was upset he did cause that was my car. Love to find it again or know where it went. Sold it to Dick Hanson's daughter in sioux falls. Dick was a family friend who raced the hair bender 68 SS cuda and the 64 SS belvedere hemi car named hair bender. She drove that little 72 340 all over sioux falls. Then she traded it to a local performance car lot called Car City in sioux falls. They sold it and who knows where it went. Dad found this one for 750 bucks but never titled it in his name until probably 2005 or 06. Title was never date or signed. Guy he bought it from kidded him he wanted his car back as he'd asked dad numerous times to buy it back but was always told I would never talk to him if he did after the last 72 he sold. Car was moved from our house we grew up in to uncles farm to storage place at small town fairgrounds to local mopar hang out and finally in 96 to house parents bought from grandpa's estate where dad was finally able to build a shed to store it in. Remember all the times moving it around and sitting in it dreaming about driving it. Numerous times mom said get it done or tell me what it will take. Even told me that I was to bring it to my shop and start on it. Every time dad would say nope can't afford it. To many other things to pay for. Sadly we lost mom in 2004 and she never got to see it or ride in it. Her color was always blue and wanted to see that car done and the 1st car mom and dad ever bought new a 69 sport satellite b5 wagon. That's the next family project I hope to tackle soon!
