I don't doubt your honesty,but I would bet the real world weight was much more than + or - 2 grams. What is 2 grams out of 800, like .250% Yeah,sure, the factory held them that close all day long back then. Don't forget to add a ton for the overengineered pin.

Hey I appreciate the vote of confidence in my honesty. You're the only one . Actually my honesty varies from day to day depending on who I am in contact with(& who I have to tolerate ) and what kind of mood I am in. The + or - 2 grams was the info I copied out of my shop manual & copying was a skill that I became very adept at way back when I was in school another testimony to my "honesty"
