Why ARP bolts for the rocker shaft to stand bolts? All they do is positively locate the shafts in the stands, keep them from sliding, and turning. The only time i think they would see an actual load is if a rocker seized and tried to twist the shaft. If I'm wrong, somebody set me straight on this.


Your correct,only need grade 5 or 8 bolts,the ARP stuff is for the the "wow".If the rocker seizes and wants to turn the shaft with 5 bolts holding it then there is a bigger problem. whistling
