My guess would be pull the switch and vacuum test it. Some of the new repros are not all they're cracked up to be. I find clean original switches, check them for vacuum and use them. They just seem to be built better. Listen for any vacuum leaks under the dash or around the switch when the car is running and when you try using the switch. Check that vacuum port on the engine and make sure it working for sure. They get crud inside them and sometimes block vacuum. Double check the routing again and the colored stripes on your harness. I've goofed that one up more than once. lol
