I probably would have spent the $400 to have someone local to where I was install a new pump. There are qualified mechanics everywhere. A few calls would have turned one of them up.

Running the trucks low on fuel will take out the pumps pretty fast, as will gas with a bunch of crap in it. Don't buy gas at any station where a fuel truck is dumping gas into their tanks, it mixes all the junk that has settled to the bottom of the tank up. If the tanker truck is still sitting at the station, go to a different one. It takes about a half hour for the junk to settle back to the bottom, after the truck quits dumping. Gene
