Hi folks,
Changing out my transfer case switching motor in my 04 Dodge Durango. The gear on the new unit isn't positioned in the same spot as the old one that came off.

Don't have a FSM handy but is it OK to power it up by the harness and basically play with it until I get it close, then bolt it on.......

Or I'm wondering if anyone has the wiring pinout such that I can jumper it on a bench and reclock it that way?

When I try to move the transfer case "shaft" it just comes out to a position that the switching motor won't mount flush to the housing.

Any ideas?
