Many may have seen my post for part one and part II I don't want to talk about. Abbreviated version: The size bolt head of the engine side of the engine to trans strut makes a difference on starter alignment.

Question for part (or should I say attempt?) III: How long is a pre-oil good for? I want to get as much lined up as possible the night before. My (non-automotive mechanical) crew is getting bored watching the menial set up. I thought if I got the pre-oil (which I did also prior to part one a week ago Sunday) out of the way the night before, would there be much drain back to the pan overnight?
