Interesting. I've always wondered why they changed back. I have a 69 GTX convertible registry and noticed that the change over was somewhere between the end of Sept and beginning of Oct. as my Dad's GTX has a SPO date of 10/3/68 and has the bullet style turn signal indicators but my friend Paul's GTX who's was built the end of Sept. has the square style.
