One reason for my header fiasco is the Proparts don't clear the torsion bars on the pass side and I had to pretty severely dent one tube to get them in. I need new shocks anyways so I think I am going to put coil overs on in front. How do most guys do this?
You have to:
Change the top mount so a regular shock can be used.
Reinforce the shock tower.
One way is to use a Hemi Denny (HDK) shock tower reinforcement. My snout bar rides in he exact space that HDK uses for his support brace. I could just get the stuff behind their U tube brace and weld it to the snout bar.
How have you guys done this. I have the original inner fender and I do not think they tied the snout bar to the inner fender when Bevis built the car back in the day.
